Join us for a special evening, hosted by the curator and author Hettie Judah.
Following the recent publication of her book ‘How to Enter The Artworld After a late start, a first career, illness, raising children, a crisis of confidence or leaving it in disgust’, we are delighted to welcome Hettie Judah to Newquay.
Coinciding with the last day of Melanie Stidolph and Rachael Coward’s exhibition Anchorhold, Hettie will host ‘After Sessions' - an informal space for people to gather, listen, share and ask open questions.
The session will start with introductions from four artists who will share their practice and talk about their current projects. This will be followed by an informal hour-long Q&A during which people can ask Hettie anything - it can be about her work, about the art world, or mentoring-type advice.
Clemo Books will be joining us, with copies of Hettie’s book for sale. There will also be an opportunity to view Melanie Stidolph and Rachael Coward’s exhibition Anchorhold at ALMA Artspace.
