ALMA Field Day

Tom Sewell Solstice Sculpture Circle workshop at Newquay Orchard, 2024

ALMA Field Day is a sumptuous seasonal celebration of art, music and creativity inspired by the people, landscape and stories of Newquay as the town moves into summer.

At the heart of the festival will be an exploration of Newquay's fascinating ancient past and inspiring contemporary community as we unveil The Newquay Monoliths: a public sculpture projected created by artist Robin Sullivan, in collaboration with the community.

With a programme of family art workshops, live music, a community picnic, inspiring talks with Stone Club and a mesmerizing unveiling ceremony (all will be revealed on the day!), ALMA Field Day promises to be a great day out, for all the family.

We can't wait to see you at the Barrowfields!

Tickets are FREE and everyone is invited

We have art workshops happening through the day and these are availavble to book for a small fee. There will also be refreshments available (or, bring your own picnic!)

The programme of talks and live music are free and open to all but booking is essential.
